Configure Norton Internet Security Firewall Xbox

I am trying to wirelessly stream my PC to the 360 and can only get it to work if norton is off.   How can I edit norton to allow the 360.

You might see a window pop up like the one above. If you do, select Allow Always from the What do you want to do drop down box. Then click the Ok button. Then go aheand and open up the Norton Internet Security 2007.

Click the Norton Internet Security tab at the top of this window.

Click the Settings page header.

Click the Personal Firewall link that is about half way down the window.

Click the Configure button that dropped down.

Put a dot in to the Ask me what to do radio button. Turning that option on will cause the firewall to ask you before allowing a new program to communicate with the internet. Uncheck the Automatically customize Internet access settings for common programs checkbox. We want to know what the firewall is allowing out of your computer. Click the Program Control link on the left hand side of this window.

Find Xbox Live 360 in the list of programs, and click it to highlight it. Then click the Modify button.

We want to click the rule in this list where the direction equals inbound or In/OUT.Click that rule and then click the Modify button. If you do not see that rule, then click the Add button.

There should be one inbound and one outbound rule for this program. The outbound rule may allow all ports out, but it is important that there are two rules here.

Put a dot in to the Allow radio button. Then click the Connection tab at the top of the window.

Put a dot in to the Connections from other computers radio button.

Then click the Computers tab at the top of the screen.

Make sure there is a dot in the Any Computers radio button. Then click the Communications tab a the top of the window.

The protocol you want to allow drop down box should have TCP and UDP in it. Put a dot in to the Only communications that match all types and ports listed below radio button.

Click the Add button close to the bottom of this window. Specify PortsSpecify Ports Filter by: Locality: Known ports from list Local Individually specified ports Remote Port Range  Enter port number or numbers. To enter multiple port numbers, use a space between each entry. Click the Ok button to save that rule.

Click the Add button close to the bottom of this window. Put a dot in to the Local radio button. If you are opening a single port, put a dot in to the Individually specified ports radio button. Then enter the port to open in to the box close to the bottom of the page. If you are opening a range of ports, put a dot in to the Port range radio button. Enter the lowest port number of that range in to the Enter the starting port box. Enter the highest port number of that range in to the Enter the ending port box. Then click the Ok button at the bottom of this page.

Click the Description tab at the top of this window.

Enter the name of the program you are opening ports for in to the box on the description page. It doesn t matter what you put into that box, but something that will remind you why this configuration is here, would be a good idea. When that is done, go ahead and click Ok until you are back at the main menu.
